Ilham Akhsanu Ridlo is an assistant professor at the Health Policy and Administration Department, Faculty of Public Health, Airlangga University, Indonesia. He is also a PhD. Student (Promovieren/Doktorand) at the Institute for Communication Science and Media Research (IfKW), Faculty of Social Science, Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität (LMU), München.
He integrates the nexus of health policy, journalism, and science communication in Indonesia. His core expertise is in health politics with grounding knowledge of health policy, science communication and journalism. He has experience as a healthcare practitioner working with governmental agencies and not-for-profit sectors. He is a member of the editorial board of The Indonesian Journal of Health Administration (IJHA).
