Malaria infection is caused by parasite of Plasmodium and transmitted by Anopheles mosquitoes, which remains as a major health problem in developed country. Some people use GB to treat malaria and increase stamina. The hydrophilic acid content of goat bile plays a role in destroying parasites and affecting the release of ATP from pancreatic duct Capan-1 cells. The aim of this study was to analyze differences in parasitemia, IL-12, IL-6 and ATP levels in mice infected with P. berghei after being treated with GB at 50% concentration. In this study, 5 test groups of 6 mice were used. Parasitemia was measured microscopically, analysis of IL-12, IL-6, and ATP levels was measured by ELISA method. Data were analysed using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests. The results showed that there were differences in parasitemia, IL-12, IL-6, and ATP levels in the GB-treated group compared to the control. There was a correlation between parasitemia and IL-12 cytokine as well as ATP levels and IL-12 and IL-6.
