Abstract

Catfish (Clariasbatrachus) is a very potentialfish to be developed because has many economic advantages. Several constraints that often experienced in the hatchability of eggs is due to the fungal attack. The study aims to discover the use of the best fermentation of herbal solution mixtures to improve the the egg hatchability and reduce the attack of Saprolegnia sp. On catfish eggs. The results showed that fermentation can reduce the attack Saprolegnia sp. On catfish eggs. The use of best fermentation herbal solution mixtures to improve hatchability of eggs and reduce saprolegnia sp. Is 7.5 milliliters per liter.
