Abstract
In the pesantren environment, there are specific issues related to the nutritional status of the
students, necessitating the strengthening of the role of health posts, such as at the Tahfidz AlQur’an Islamic Boarding School in Karangmojo, to support efforts in preventing and reducing
nutritional problems among adolescents. Ustadz and Ustadzah, as mentors, are tasked with
supporting the health post (Poskestren), making it essential to assess their level of knowledge
regarding the provision of nutrition for male and female students. This study employed a
descriptive approach to assess the knowledge level of Ustadz and Ustadzah. The study
population included all Ustadz and Ustadzah at the Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Islamic Boarding School
in Karangmojo, Ponorogo Regency, totaling eleven individuals. The research sample consisted
of the entire population, using a total sampling technique. The research instrument was a
closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale with four response options: strongly agree,
agree, disagree, and strongly disagree. The scoring criteria were based on the Likert scale,
with "Strongly Agree" = 4 points, "Agree" = 3 points, "Disagree" = 2 points, and "Strongly
Disagree" = 1 point. The results showed that 47% of Ustadz and Ustadzah were aged 26–35
years, with the majority holding a bachelor’s degree (59%). The findings indicated that the
knowledge level of Ustadz and Ustadzah was excellent in fostering healthy eating habits
among male and female students.
