Abstract

Impacted teeth is one that fails to erupt into the oral cavity within the estimated time. Neurological disorder are diseases of the central nervous system caused by injury to the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. The examples of neurological disorders are neuralgia and cephalgia. Impacted teeth can put persistent pressure on nerve endings and cause pain in the form of headaches which can reduce the patient’s quality of life. In a population with impacted teeth, 53.33% complained a rather disturbing headache and 13.33% of the sample complained headaches that interfered with their activities. Studying the relations between neurological disorder and impacted teeth. Impacted teeth may be associated with neurological disorders such as neuralgia and cephalgia due to persistent pressure from impacted teeth on the nerve endings in contact with them.
