Background: Tooth and mouth disease is a common problem that occurs in Indonesia. Dental students are required to have good knowledge in the field of oral health according to expert criteria. Attitudes and behaviors towards oral health care reflect understanding in preventing oral diseases and are very important in improving oral health. Purpose: Knowing the difference in grade levels to dental and oral health habits and knowledge in dentistry students at Universitas Airlangga. Method: This type of research is included in observational analytic research with cross-sectional method. The study was conducted at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universitas Airlangga. The research sample uses the randomization method and is given a questionnaire. The number of students in the research sample was 110 people, consisting of 51 students in 2016 and 59 students in class 2019. The data analysis technique used was Ordinal-interval with the Mann-whitney U model. Results: The average knowledge value of the 2016 class is 78.04, while the 2019 class has an average of 36.02. The 2016 class attitude value has an average of 68.12, while the 2019 class is 44.59. Conclusion: There are differences in habits and knowledge of dental and oral health between students of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Universitas Airlangga in 2016 and 2019 classes.
