Abstract

Facial reconstruction is a scientific art to assemble a face on the skull for identification of individuals. This study aims to determine the average size of soft tissue in facial reconstruction points of Batak Toba in Surabaya. We measured 20 females Batak Toba of three generations, aged 17-25 years. We did general x-ray in lateral and frontal positions, to look at the size of each point on the facial reconstruction. The results of this study can be used to reconstruct individual from Batak Toba, to approximate the shape of the face of the skull.
