Abstract

The aim of this study was to know the seroprevalence case of Infectious Bronchitis (IB) on ducks and native chickens based on serology assay. Positive samples which contain antibody are confirmed to be infected by IB virus due to no vaccination program. In this study, sampling was done at Mojosari market in Mojokerto district, and the number of samples were 120 for each ducks and native chickens, which were taken four times, each as many as 30 samples. Antibody assay is conducted by applying indirect-ELISA technique using Massachusetts strain as antigen. The result showed that the seroprevalence case of IB in ducks had positive number, as many as 30 (40%) of 120 samples. In native chickens, 87 (72.5%) of 120 of samples showed positive results. The reactivity of antibody were showed by titer antibody around 4.157-12.217 in ducks and around 4.173-170.795 in native chickens.
