Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know the soybean effect to increase the proliferation of endometrial layer in development process of the uterine organ in female mice. The control group (K) without soybean extract. P1 group was given soybean extract with dose 12,5mg/kgBW. P2 group was given soybean extract at dose 25mg/kgBW. The P3 group was given soybean extract at a dose of 37,5mg/kgBW. P4 group was given soybean extract with dose of 50mg/kgBW. Treatment is done every day for fourteen days. One Way Anova Test results showed a significant (p <0.05) and continued with Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The endometrial thickness of the P2, P3, and P4 groups was significantly different (p <0.05), with control group (K), and control group (K) not significantly different from P1 (p> 0.05), and P1 did not significantly different with the P2 group (p> 0.05). Phytoestrogen compounds namely isoflavones in the form of daidzein and genistein cooperate in optimizing the proliferation of endometrial layer in the female mice. Daidzein acts as an estrogenic compound to bind estrogen receptors in the uterine and genistein acts as an inhibitor of the growth of excess endometrial lining in certain amounts. The conclusions of this study are soybean extract effective for increasing proliferation of endometrial layer on female mice's uterus.
