Abstract

Eighteen New Zealand White rabbits were vaccinated with multivalent dengue vaccines. The blood was collected on days 0, 7, 14, 21, and 28 and were examined using indirect ELISA. The positive results were cultured in vero cell (2x105 cell/well) that was infected with mixture of dengue antigen and antibody. The serum virus neutralization (SVN) result showed that antibodies were able to neutralize dengue virus and showed no cytopathic effect (CPE). It was concluded that multivalent dengue vaccines could induce neutralizing antibodies in rabbit.
