Abstract

It has been measurements of cholesterol concentrations based on bio impedance with EVAL-AD 5933. The research was conducted by installing Digilent PmodIA: impedance analyzer with ATMega 328 to obtain bio impedance spectrometer device frequency range from 1 kHz to 100 kHz. The device is then used to perform impedance spectroscopy and to detect cholesterol concentrations by using a parallel wire electrodes. The results showed that the device was able to detect the cholesterol concentrations of 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300 ppm by 7.563 kΩ/ ppm at a frequency of 20 kHz, 8.938 kΩ/ppm at a frequency of 30 kHz and 10.31 kΩ/ppm at a frequency of 40 kHz.
