Abstract
Introduction: Child malnutrition is a never-ending problem. Various innovative efforts have been made to reduce malnutrition rates, one of which is the application of Positive Deviance/Hearth (PD/hearth) as a program intervention. Objective: This research has a purpose to knowing the implementation of Positive Deviance/Hearth program as an effort to reduce malnutrition in children. Method: This study uses a literature review by Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analytic (PRISMA) method with publications ranging from 2017 to 2022. The databases used to collect literature are Google Scholar and PubMed. Articles are available in full text and written in Indonesian and English. Result: Researchers found as many as 1.300 articles which were then selected to become 10 relevant articles. From 10 articles, PD/hearth is very suitable to be implemented for the community because it uses affordable local resources. And the key of success for implementing PD/hearth is through the four positive habits of mother such as feeding, parenting, hygiene, and efforts to get good health services. Conclusion: The conclusion form this study is many countries have implemented PD/hearth and it has been influential in improving the nutritional status of children.
