Abstract
Introduction: Nurses expected to maintain their quality and professionalism to patients. Quality of work life is related to job satisfaction. Nurses who have low work quality tend to experience a decrease in job satisfaction. Quality of work life is basically a process to obtain job satisfaction based on performance Objective: Analyzing the relationship between quality of work life and job satisfaction of inpatient nurses at Hospital X in Gresik Regency Methods: This type of research is an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. The research population in all inpatient nurses at Hospital X in Gresik was 75 people. For the research sample using simple random sampling technique of 43 people. The variables studied were the quality of work life and job satisfaction. The data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. Results: The results showed that 60.5% of nurses had a moderate quality of work life. (90.7%) nurses had job satisfaction with the category quite satisfied. From the results of statistical tests, it was found that p value = 0.000 < (0.05) which means that there was a relationship between the quality of work life and job satisfaction for nurses. Conclusion: There is a relationship between quality of work life and job satisfaction of inpatient nurses at Hospital X in Gresik.
