Abstract

Segura's Throatspine Gudgeon Belobranchus segura Keith, Hadiaty & Lord 2012 is an amphidromous fish from the Indo-Pacific region. In Indonesia, B. segura was distributed in Papua, Halmahera, Sulawesi (previously known as Celebes) and Java Island. The finding of this species in the lower stream river of Malang district, south of Java, Indonesia, was firstly recorded here. This study provides the photographs of a single male specimen of B. segura, the description of morphological features of a specimen and their habitat conditions.
