Abstract

Background: Pulmonary tuberculosis is a disease that has emerged for a long time and is still a big problem in the health sector. Indonesia is the second largest contributor to the increase in global tuberculosis cases. Objective: This study aims to analyze the risk factors for the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in Indonesia. Methods: The type of research used is a meta-analysis using a sample of 16 relevant journal articles. The data collection method used in this study is to search for articles related to the purpose of this research topic on the database used Google Scholar according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data that has been collected will be tabulated and made a table using Microsoft Excel and the data will be analyzed using the JASP 2 application version 0.16.2. Results: This study shows the results of a meta-analysis on the variable density of house occupancy of 2,1382 (95% CI 0,28 – 1,25), house ventilation of 1,1735 (95% CI-0,28 – 0,60) and house humidity of 1,9739 (95% CI 0,51 – 0,86). Conclusion: This study concludes that the highest risk factor that can have an impact as a cause of pulmonary tuberculosis cases is the density of residential houses with a risk of 2.1382 greater than the density of houses that have qualified.
