N2 - This comprehensive study explores the intersection of mindfulness, self-core evaluation, and agreeableness with local hero leadership, a similar framework to servant leadership, within Indonesia’s Climate Village Program (ProKlim). Employing a quantitative research methodology, this paper examines how these psychological traits impact the effectiveness of local hero leadership, a pivotal element in community-driven environmental initiatives. The study's aim is to understand the impact of the local hero's nature and character on leading ProKlim effectively. The research investigates the role of a local hero as a servant leader, delving into how mindfulness contributes to awareness and responsiveness, how self-core evaluation relates to resilience and decision-making, and how agreeableness influences community engagement. This study not only advances our understanding of the psychological dimensions underpinning servant leadership but also provides valuable insights for enhancing leadership strategies in similar community development contexts. It highlights the complex interplay of these traits in shaping leadership effectiveness, offering a novel perspective on leadership dynamics within the framework of environmental sustainability and community empowerment.
