N2 - This research aimed to find the effect of sappan wood extract on motility, viability, membrane integrity, and abnormality of buck spermatozoa exposed to heat stress. This research was conducted from November until December 2019 in teaching farm and Universitas Airlangga laboratory PSDKU in Banyuwangi. Buck semen was collected by using the stripping of the cauda epididymis method. This research was using complete random design formula with 4 treatment, which was K (-) with ambient temperature without sappan wood extract, K (+) with high-temperature 30℃ without sappan wood extract, P1 with 30℃ high temperature and 100 mg/kg feed of sappan wood extract, P2 with 30℃ high temperature and 300 mg/kg feed of sappan wood extract, and repeat it 5 times every each of it. The motility result using Anova statistic analysis was being continued with Duncan Test which was K (-) 51,76%±1,70; K (+) 44,89%±3,11; P1 58,54%±2,50 and P2 60,83%±5,94. The viability result was K (-) 65,59%±2,25; K (+) 58,49%±2,24; P1 71,53%±1,72 and P2 75,45%±3,34. The membrane integrity result was K (-) 63,06%±1,29; K (+) 55,57%±3,28; P1 69,00%±1,58 and P2 69,83%±4,75. The abnormality result was K (-) 9,81%±0,08; K (+) 10,34%±0,10; P1 9.13%±0,07 and P2 9.17%±0,09. The conclusion from this research shows that the result real significantly different (<0,05) was contained in motility, viability, membrane integrity, and abnormality.
