Abstract

This systematic review aimed to analyze the determinant factors of household food waste in Southeast Asia. Two databases (Web of Science and ScienceDirect) and hand searching were used to select the articles. A total of 12 studies were identified in this review. Household food waste behavior was associated with psychological factors, food quality and safety, and consumer behavior (planning, purchasing, storing, and eating behaviors). This systematic review implies that understanding our needs, families, and eating habits are essential for reducing food waste.
