Abstract
Eco campus is one area that is used to support ecosystem urban area functions and an effort of biodiversity conservation in Indonesia. One of the organism diversity supports is the presence of Basidiomycetes. Basidiomycetes are important organisms to degrade organic matter in the ecosystem. The information of Basidiomycetes diversity in the campus still lack. In this research the Basidiomycetes diversity data can support wild Basidiomycetes preservation effort on limited green open space. Basidiomycetes diversity data in campus areas has never been reported. In this research, 20 types of Basidiomycetes genera were found from the Universitas Airlangga campus area. The Basidiomycetes identification were carried out using morphological characters. The types of Basidiomycetes that have been found are Agaricus sp., Amanita sp., Auricularia sp., Coltricia sp., Ganoderma sp., Lepiota sp., Leucocoprinus sp., Marasmius sp., Naucoria sp., Polyporus sp., Russula sp., Scizophyllum sp., Termitomyces sp., and Trametes sp. Some fungi, such as Auricularia, Ganoderma, and Scizophyllum are found to be potential as food and medicinal. The data collection from Basidiomycetes diversity can be used as a reference for the green open space management in urban area.
