Cost Analysis of Sanitary Landfill Model in Jugil Landfill North Lombok District

This study aims to determine the cost analysis of the implementation of the sanitary landfill type I with filled-up soil as cover material, modified sanitary landfill type II with HDPE tarpaulin as waste cover material and modified sanitary landfill type III with a mixture of soil and compost as waste cover material at the Jugil Landfill, North Lombok Regency, as well as to find out the most efficient sanitary landfill model to be applied at the Jugil Landfill in North Lombok Regency. Cost analysis covers all landfill operations, calculated based on costs of closure, fuel, heavy equipment maintenance and personnel. Cost requirements are calculated for eight years of landfill age and the national and provincial inflation rates. The cost analysis results show that costs of applying the sanitary landfill type I, type II and type III in the Jugil Landfill, North Lombok Regency, for eight years of operational time are IDR 44,246,984,221.79, IDR 19,205,689,702.06 and IDR 84,502,662,732.95. Based on the cost analysis results, the sanitary landfill model, considered efficient for Jugil Landfill, North Lombok Regency, is a modified sanitary landfill type II with HDPE tarpaulin as a waste cover material.
