Abstract

Now the science for periodontal regeneration has developed rapidly in tissue engineering technology. What is needed Dental engineering is stem cells that are superior to scaffolding to make biocomplex regeneration. Various types of stem cells have been isolated from dental tissue such as periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs), dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs), stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth (SHED), stem cells from the apical papilla (SCAP), dental follicle progenitor cells (DFPCs), and tooth germ progenitor cell (TGPCs). All of stem cells can regenerate dental tissue. All of this explains about stem cells originating from teeth and stem cell dental therapies that are applied to periodontic.
