Tiyas is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga, joined in 2006. Her areas of interest are Maternity Nursing, Women's Health, and Reproductive Health. Tiyas has produced several research works and community services. Several research results have also been published in reputable national and international journals. In 2014 and 2017, Tiyas received an Australian Awards Fellowship from the Australian government. In 2015 she also received the SAKURA Exchange Program in Science award from the Japanese government. While at the Faculty of Nursing, Tiyas has had the opportunity to occupy several important positions, including the Head of Maternity Nursing Division, Journal Manager, Faculty Ambassador, Coordinator for the Undergraduate Nursing Program, and Quality Assurance Unit for Bachelor of Nursing Program. Tiyas has also been registered as a member of the East Java Region Indonesian Maternity Nurses Association since 2017. While serving as a Faculty Ambassador, Tiyas has facilitated various inbound-outbound programs for students and lecturers with domestic and foreign partners. Under her leadership, Undergraduate Nursing Program was successfully certified by the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) in 2018, accredited by the ASIIN international standard WFME, and LAM-PTKes (Grade "A") in 2020. Currently, she is the Secretary for Bachelor of Nursing Program, Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Airlangga.
