Prof. Dr. Sri Hajati, S.H., M.S. has been a professor in customary law and agrarian law at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, since 2005. She obtained a Bachelor of Law (S.H.) from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University in 1977. Then she continued his education by obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in the Study Program Masters at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga in 1985 and a Doctorate (Dr.) in the Postgraduate Program at Universitas Airlangga in 2003. 

Her academic career began as a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga, since December 1974. She teaches subjects: Inheritance Law (Adat, Islam, and Burgerlijk Wetboek), Agrarian Law, Introduction to Indonesian Law, Customary Law, Inheritance Law Practices, Land Law, City Planning Law, and Land Law Politics. As an academic, she has also published various scientific works in the fields of Inheritance Law, Customary Law, and Agrarian Law. Apart from being active in several teaching and research activities, she is also involved in various Community Service activities. 

She also has experience carrying out mandates in structural positions, including Vice Dean II, Director of the Graduate School, Head of the Notary Masters Study Program, and lastly, served as Head of the Doctoral Study Program in Law, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University.
