Personal profile

Research interests

My primary focus is on understanding the impacts of chemical exposures on ecological systems and human health. My research interests are deeply rooted in evaluating how various chemical contaminants influence both environmental and human health outcomes.

At Universitas Airlangga, I am engaged in interdisciplinary research that employs a range of advanced methodologies to assess these impacts. My expertise includes the USEPA Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA) and Ecological Risk Assessment (ERA) methods, which provide a comprehensive framework for evaluating potential risks. I also utilize Monte Carlo simulations to handle uncertainties and variabilities in risk assessments, alongside system dynamic modelling to understand and predict complex environmental interactions over time.

Additionally, I integrate various statistical assessment techniques to analyze and interpret data, ensuring robust and reliable results. This multifaceted approach allows me to contribute valuable insights into the mitigation of chemical pollution and the development of strategies to protect both ecosystems and human populations.

Through my work, I aim to advance the scientific understanding of environmental health risks and support the creation of informed policies and practices that safeguard our environment and communities.
