Rahmat Heru Setianto is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. He holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the UPM School of Business and Economics.

He serves as Program Director of the Master of Science in Management (MSM) and as Chair of the Airlangga Centre for Financial Innovation and Technology (ACFIT). His research interests include financial markets and institutions, corporate finance, financial economics, sustainable finance, and Islamic banking and finance.

His work has been published in several international journals, including Finance Research Letters, Research in International Business and Finance, and Borsa İstanbul Review.
