Prawitra Thalib is a member of the PrivateLaw Department, Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. He completed his bachelor at the Faculty of Law Universitas Jambi and his master and doctoral at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. Apart from teaching, researching, and doing law-related projects, he is member of the Indonesian Islamic Economic Law Lecturer Association (APPHEISI) and Indonesian Private Law Lecturer Association (APHK).
Since 2020, he has been in charge as the Secretary of Pusat Pengelolaan Dana Sosial (PUSPAS) Universitas Airlangga.
