Dr. Nurwahjuni, S.H., M.H., is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. She has been actively teaching at the faculty since 1988. Familiarly called Ninis, she completed her undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. Then, she continued her master's education and obtained a Doctorate also at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. 

Her areas of expertise are Corporate Law, Banking Law, and Sharia Banking Law. During his career, Ninis has conducted and directed various research projects. Some examples are “Non-performing Loans Settlement Model”, and “Syariah Compliance as Legal Protection for Customers Depositing Funds at Islamic Banks”. FH UNAIR funded both studies. She has also published two books, namely “Non-performing Loan Settlement Models” and “Credit Risk Management in Banking Practices.” Apart from teaching activities, Ninis is also an active member of the Surabaya City Notary Supervisory Board, and is often an expert witness in the investigation and judicial process.
