Masitoh Indriani holds a Bachelor of Laws from Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia and Master of Laws (LLM) from School of Law, University of Leeds, UK. Currently, she works as a lecturer at International Law Department, Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga and a fulltime researcher at Center of Human Rights Law Studies (HRLS) Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga. Her research interest includes Cyberlaw, Internet Governance, Surveillance, Data Protection, and Privacy. She has contributed to a book chapter, entitled ‘Freedom of Expression in Indonesia: The Laws, Dynamics, Issues and Challenges (2015), the collaboration works between the Academic Network of Freedom of Expression (FoE) and various Public Universities in Indonesia.
