Personal profile

Prof. Dr. Mas Rahmah, S.H., M.H., LL.M., is a law graduate from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. She completed her Master of Law in 1998 and her Doctor of Law in 2012 from the same university. She took her second master degree at Monash University, Australia. Currently, she serves as the Chair of the Center for Intellectual Property Studies, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. 

Her academic career began in 1998 when she  has became a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. Her areas of expertise are Patent Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Investment Law, Trademark Law, Capital Market Law, Copyright Law, Commercial Law, Business Contract,  Law and Business Transactions. 

While active as a lecturer and researcher, she has published various publications in scientific journals and books. She was inaugurated as Professor on Intellectual Property Rights, at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga, with an inaugural speech entitled “The Trilogy of Intellectual Property Rights: Between Digital Innovation, Startups, and the Development of the Creative Economy.”
