Dr. Maradona, S.H., LL.M., graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia, in 2005. Then, he continued his Master of Law studies at the Law Faculty of Groningen University, the Netherlands, specializing in Criminal Law and Criminology in 2010 and a Doctor of Law degree at Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the Netherlands in 2018. He is Vice Dean III for Research, Publication, Community Development, and Cooperation Faculty of Law Universitas Airlangga.
His academic career began in 2006 when he became a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. His areas of expertise are Criminal Law, Economic Criminal Law, Anti-Corruption Law, Corporate Criminal Law, Victimology, and Criminology. In addition to actively teaching as a lecturer, he has been a member of the Indonesian Criminal Law and Criminology Society since 2007 until now.
He is also a researcher at the Center for Anti-Corruption and Criminal Policy, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and Center for Health Law, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University.
