La Ode Sabaruddin is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of York and an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leicester, both in United Kingdom.

His research interests include corporate governance, sustainability and ethics, business model design, and innovation management. His work has been published in several international journals, including the International Journal of Management Reviews (ABS 3), Creativity and Innovation Management (ABS 2), Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development (ABS 2), Asian Review of Accounting (ABS 2), International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics (ABS 2), Australasian Accounting, Business and Finance Journal (ABS 1), Cogent Business & Management (ABS 1), and Journal of Enterprising Communities (ABS 1). He has also contributed chapters to books published by Elsevier and Palgrave Macmillan.

He is an alumnus of the Academy of Management Review (ABS 4*) Bridge Reviewer Program (2024) and currently serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several leading international journals, including Research Policy (ABS 4*), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (ABS 3), and Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development (ABS 2).

He is an active member of the European Academy of Management (EURAM) SIGs on Innovation and Corporate Governance and a member of the Institute of Indonesia Chartered Accountants.
