Haidar Adam, S.H., LL.M, has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga, since 2008. He earned his bachelor degree at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Airlangga. Later, he continued his education and received a Master of Laws degree at Central European University.
Haidar's area of expertise is Human Rights, specifically in Freedom of Religion and Belief, Constitutional Law, Comparative HTN, and Procedural Law of the Constitutional Court. He has published several publications in the 2018-2022 period, such as “The Principle of Uti Possidetis Juris as an Alternative for Determining Territorial Boundaries in the Pocket of Oecusse” and “Dissenting Opinion and Concurring Opinion in the Decisions of the Constitutional Court.” Haidar volunteered in the Legal Aid and Consultation Unit (UKBH) of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and was a Director in 2018-2022. He is also a researcher at the Secretary of Human Rights Law and Studies, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University.
Haidar is active as a resource person in various training and seminars, such as “Imparsial FGD on a Critical Review of Law 23 of 2019” and “LBH Surabaya Commemorating 24 Years of Reformation.” He is a member of the Human Rights Teaching Union (SEPAHAM) and LAKPESDAM-NU East Java.
