Citrawati Dyah Kencono Wungu, M.D. was born in Magetan, Indonesia. She graduated from medical school at Airlangga University in 2011. She then went on to her master's degree in basic medical science at Airlangga University and completed the program in 2016. In 2019 she completed her doctorate in medical science at Airlangga university. Currently, she is a Lecturer in the Department of Physiology and Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University, and also a Researcher at the Institute of Tropical Disease (ITD) Airlangga University. She is also the Head of the Research Division at the Research and Community Service Unit (UPPM) of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University.
