Personal profile

Ari Kurniawan, S.H., M.Kn., LL.M., Ph.D., is a permanent lecturer at the Civil Law Department, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree (S.H.) from the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, in 2008. Then he continued his education by obtaining a Master of Laws degree (M.Kn.) in the Master of Notary Program, Faculty of Law, Airlangga University in 2010 and earned a Master of Laws degree at the University of Reading, United Kingdom in 2015. He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2021.

 

His courses are Legal Research, Islamic Law, Banking Law, Cyber Law and Notary. As an academician, he has also published various scientific papers in Banking Law and Sharia Finance Law. Besides being active in several teaching and research activities, he is also active in various Community Service activities.
