Description of impact
I am honored to have been requested by the Ministry of National Development Planning (Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional, Bappenas) to serve as a consultant in the development of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029. In this role, I was responsible for formulating strategies and national priority programs in the fields of tourism, industry, and the creative economy.During the period from October to December 2023, I conducted a comprehensive study which included several key steps:
1. Data Analysis:
- Utilized survey data provided by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) to understand the current conditions, challenges, and opportunities in the manufacturing industry.
- Analyzed data on the creative economy to identify potential sectors for further development.
2. Focus Group Discussions (FGD):
- Organized focus group discussion sessions with industry players, local and central government agencies, business associations, and exporters to gain in-depth insights and diverse perspectives on the needs and aspirations of each stakeholder.
3. Formulation of Strategies and Priority Programs:
- Based on the data obtained from BPS surveys and FGDs, I formulated strategies and national priority programs that can support the sustainable and inclusive development of tourism, industry, and the creative economy.
The results of this study were utilized by the Bappenas team as a foundation in drafting the RPJMN 2025-2029. By developing strategies based on data and direct input from various stakeholders, my contribution is expected to help create a more effective and competitive development plan. I am committed to continuing to make a positive impact in the field of public policy and to supporting Indonesia's national development efforts.
